Here I am in December of 2008. My Mom had been asking us for a professional photo for years; we finally went to Sears and had several shots taken. This is my favorite of the ones of me.

Alan,

Okay, what you have done here is basically spam. You have posted the same unsolicited commercial message as a "personal comment" to several different people in this network. Spam is sending any unsolicited commercial messages to a group of people. Spam is not allowed on this network.

If you have something to say to the group as a whole, you do not post it as a personal message to each member -- you use the Forum and put it in an appropriate topic. If there is no appropriate topic, you start a new one or ask me about starting a new one. The Forum exists for messages that should be ready by everyone (or by more than a very few). Personal messages are for just that -- something to be ready by one person. I trust you will understand the difference.

I have no objection to you posting a message like this in the Forum ONCE. More than once, it becomes spam and will be a problem that I have to fix.

I do object to misusing the personal messages feature. Do not do this again, or I will have to ban you from the group for spam.

Got it? Good! (grin)

Hello fellow Traveling Notary Public,

I hope it is OK for me to take the liberty of contacting you. As a Self-Employed Real Estate Agent or Mortgage Broker or Notary Public, I know that you are always networking and generating new clients all the time.

The reason for this email, other than to make a connection, is to inform you about a program the company I work for introduced in July 2007 - geared especially towards those that are Self-Employed. Pre-Paid Legal is seeking thousands of new part-time marketing associates to help with our national expansion. Your background suits you just right for our field. (No need to stop selling homes or loans...but use this opportunity to create extra cash flow for yourself.) This is a special program designed just for your background...so it will easily fit into your current schedule and routine.

My Website

Since I do not know that many Real Estate or Mortgage people or Notary Signing Agents, I wanted to contact you about this. The Self-Employed people who get positioned with us in your area stand to do very well. I am working with some other people in other states who are absolutely going to town with this business! I cannot imagine that you would not be interested. If you would like to hear about this business, please just reply back to me so I can get you a packet to review...no obligation at all. I can't promise anything, but if it is of interest to you - which I believe it will, you may want to hug me one day!

Welcome to the Traveling Notary Public Network

This is an experiment to see whether Traveling Notary Publics (or Mobile Notaries or, for some of us, Notary Signing Agents) can have our own social networking site. I am a TNP, an MN, an NSA, whatever you want to call me -- and I am learning about this industry and about my office all the time.

Unlike the other Notary-related sites on this network, this site has been created by a working Notary Public -- not someone who owns some form of Signing Service. I have absolutely nothing agai… Continue
